| With the expansion of communication and information transfer, more people around the world are attracted to new technologies. Thus, complex networks have emerged in various fields of the real world. But complex networks have never been immune to attack. This means that network maintenance should always be considered as the most important issue and the strength of the network against various destructive attacks should be predicted to prevent network collapse. This will be achieved if the features of complex networks are analyzed and their advantages and disadvantages are identified with the availability of different types of attacks. This paper provides a brief overview of complex networks, including examples of network models. In order to better understand the role of network topology in robustness, the centrality measures in random and targeted attacks are discussed. Of course, in recent years, many studies are conducted in this field, which are briefly analyzed and packaged. |
